Event Details

As their children grow, parents may give more and more attention to encouraging children’s artistic abilities and creativity. Creative handicrafts combine these two points perfectly. Creative handicraft not only exercises children’s practical abilities, but also stimulates their creativity, observation, imagination and divergent thinking, so as to increase their sense of achievement and self-confidence. In turn, this can help children favour a more optimistic attitude towards life, and cultivate their ability to be happy.
House of Knowledge is inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and integrates this with the International Early Years Curriculum which is a project-based learning curriculum. As such, we aim to combine children’s interests with the project content when setting the creative handicrafts for children. We believe this will help develop confidence and problem-solving skills that will help children succeed throughout their life.
House of Knowledge invites Dragon Show, the professional arts and physical training institution for young children and adolescents, to come to our Xinglong campus to facilitate a vivid Creative Handicraft class for your family. This creative handicraft class integrates creativity into model design, thus developing the joy of handicraft into a unique artistic presentation. For this session, we have chosen a material from every daily life – buttons, which will be the source of our handicraft, but also the creation we want to experiment with. Come and experience this art journey with buttons.
