How time flies! We are fast approaching the end of the academic year and the summer holidays are coming soon! Both House of Knowledge campuses, Chaoyang Park and Shunyi, hosted wonderful summer parties to celebrate. This year, the party theme was water!
The Summer Party at Chaoyang Park was held on the afternoon of June 9th. Although the weather was cloudy and a little bit drizzly, the kids were determined to still enjoy the party. They were more than ready for all the exciting activities-water guns, water balls, blowing bubbles, mini “sea pool”, giant connect four and a photo station, and some children even brought their swimming costumes to make the most of the water play party.
The Shunyi campus’ summer party took place the following week, on June 14th. Families from Early Years and Elementary joined the party, danced to lively music, splashed in the water area, had water gun fights and paddled in the mini swimming pool. There was also a jumping castle, face painting, fancy marshmallow, a professional magic performance, and gourmet food was served from various countries.
The HoK teachers thoroughly enjoyed having fun at the parties with the students and meeting and chatting with the families. We wish to thank all the members of the House of Knowledge community for all their support throughout the 2017-2018 academic year and we hope that everyone has a wonderful summer break!
